
Emergency: Emergency medical transportation is provided to various nursing homes and other contracted facilities. These ambulances are staffed by Paramedic's and EMT's who are certified in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). All units have defibrillators, oxygen, pulse oximetry, as well as ALS (Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) equipment. Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU): Transports requiring advanced therapies can utilize our MICU. This unit has the capability of transporting critically ill patients who require additional equipment and staff. Please call us at 216-281-9300 for more information.
Non emergency: Non emergency medical transportation occurs when a patient needs an ambulance for transport. The patient is unable to sit in a wheelchair for a medical reason. For example, a patient who had a catheterization procedure and is required to keep one leg straight for a period of time. An ambulance would be appropriate for this type of situation.
All of our emergency and non emergency services are available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
